9. The Ferryman

Slow down, focus, be still, progress. These are the stories we tell ourselves, talking to reflections. These are the teachings passing down, sending the same old message: flow like the water, sink like a stone. Slow down, focus. Always the same, all ways the same - old friend do you remember?

Chorus: Feels good to be afraid, to feel alive on the centre line. 

Now that the chains have finally gone, so used to them I can’t move at all. Drag this same old Karma around watching time evolve. These are the stories we tell ourselves - you know the bags I carry round. Now we run in circles on the ground. We all fall down.

Stepping through the mirror a reflection of myself. We live our lives inside two worlds in parallel. We are connected and the wheel turns on the centre line.

Always running away, tell your secrets to me, of being everywhere and nowhere all the time. Into transparent green, into worlds unseen. No matter how far you run - there you are. Clinging on to the chain, dragging this Karmatrain, drifting away from the centre, turn the wheel.
